David graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in 2002 where he worked in several busy clinics before relocating to New Zealand in 2007.

David is passionate about finding the most effective treatment approach for each individual patient, whether it is manipulative, myofascial, visceral, craniosacral, cupping, myofascial trigger point needling or acupuncture.

 

As all bodies are different they respond differently depending on the style of treatment received. Some bodies will need a more robust treatment whilst others require a more passive approach and this applies to both an osteopathic and acupuncture approach.

 

In David's experience it is usually a combination of different approaches that gets the best results and this can be especially true when osteopathy and acupuncture are combined for example when treating reflux and irritable bowel.

David also has experience in Kinesio Taping and prehab/ rehab. Supporting injury recovery with kinesio taping and strength and mobility protocols are a key part of treatment which can help improve recovery times and reduce future injury risk.

Outside of the clinic David enjoys keeping healthy and active with many years of triathlon and CrossFit experience.
